Home of the Hummingbird

Happy Monday peeps! I thought I would share with you a few shots I took and hope it brightens up your day.

My mom took me to a place called, Yerettê. You must be thinking what does that mean? It means, home of the hummingbird (hence the title of this blog :)). Whilst there we learnt that there are 17 species of hummingbirds in Trinidad and Tobago; in relation to size, these birds are the 2nd fastest animals on the planet and so many more interesting facts.

Now as you know I’ve been challenging myself to take more photos, I have to say I was really challenged. The birds move so quickly even when they’re perched, if you blink you miss them. However, I did manage to catch a few decent(ish) shots which was so worth it. These birds are so beautiful and colourful.

Hope you enjoy!

Later peeps!
